Getting started....

I've always wanted to have a ladies gathering where we talk about anything and everything. I would so love to be at one of Oprah's Legends Ball or at least her luncheons. Anyway, we have some amazing women in our circle who I'm sure would love to express themselves or just be present. Women are beautiful creatures who I believe have special powers. I mean we can feed off one another's strength, learn form other's struggles, carry so much on our backs and not break, keep a family together and still maintain our beauty and poise. I'm going to work on this. I think many can gain so much when many of us gather in one place. 

Why?

Why are you mad at someone's situation when they're not? I always believe when the mind, body or soul get tired of something it will eventually release it, let it go. Although, it's hard watching someone self destruct especially when you care it will only end when THEY decide enough is enough. Do we care too much? Probably not. Do we adopt others feelings until it start impacting you? Probably so. When do WE let go so others can grow and realize they are so much more than their circumstances. More times than not people accept the abuse because they believe they are helping someone to overcome their short comings. You cannot save someone who doesn't want to be saved. They are not pets, so you alone cannot rescue them. Counseling and a support group whether it's family or an institution is needed. However, lets not forget prayer🙏🏾. Prayer is very powerful!
