Don't stay....

No matter if it's positive or negative people tend to stay in their same routine until there is either an interruption or you realize it's not where you want to be. How do you overcome a negative routine? Of course, everyone is different. But, I'm sure no matter your position it'll take plenty of work. It's like exercising by continuously working on a particular area. So, if it's your emotions or the physical focus on improving and being healthy. Healthy is not just physical but a combination of mental, emotional, physical, spiritual and in some cases financial.  Most times people don't think to include financial, however, it's one of the main contenders when trying to improve the quality of life. It's a domino effect and if one is out of balance it throws everything else off. Give thanks🙏🏾

Everyday is a holiday when you're alive to give thanks. Granted we pay homage to Religious and Federal holidays mainly because it's what we're taught. But, everyday is a gift and we don't need a calendar to celebrate life. For the Religious and Federal holidays learn their true meaning instead of just following an annual ritual. The history and chain of events which made these holidays come to be will undoubtedly change how you feel. They'll either enhance your appreciation or erase a preconceived notion.

Pay attention....

Be aware of your surroundings because there's possibly a message out there meant for you. Be observant and listen to your gut. Hopefully, you'll be saved from a negative experience. Maybe, you'll see or hear something you previously rejected, but now understand it could improve your quality of life. Not all events you encounter are meant for you to act on. They could be there for you to know there are options. Sometimes in our path are things we choose to ignore or continue to be in denial about. We need to acknowledge there are situations we encounter simply to advance us to the next stage.
Embrace life, learn from mistakes, plan for success, stay positive and reach for a better tomorrow. It's yours for the taking.

Tick Tock....

As long as you get there it's all good. Things might not come or happen in the time you like, but as long as you continue your persuit in getting somewhere you're not too late. We put these ridiculous timelines on ourselves and it's too much pressure. Things will happen when they're supposed to. "The Pursuit of Happyness", no journey is more deserving, rewarding or fulfilling. Continue to work on pleasing yourself. Be happy with who YOU are and if you're not then make a change. If your not happy with or loving youself wholly then you cannot be your all for someone else. You mustn't expect more than you're able to deliver. If you want the best, then be your best. Peoples standards vary in what's "perfect".  But, as long as it's perfect for you that's all that matter.

Brush it off....

Things don't always go as planned, but it's o.k.  Start over again until you get it right. Many times we'd like to give up, but it's not an option. Only God is perfect and we're a work in progress. Yes, you might think you've failed, but as long as you keep trying then know you haven't failed. When things appear to be coming together keep on trying. There's always room for improvement. Remember, nothing is perfect except God. That means keep pushing, keep trying, keep working to improve and if you stumble along the way brush it off and keep it moving. Stop being so hard on yourself and know you're allowed to make mistakes. After all, we're not perfect. But, we can improve.
