Good Afternoon Dolls,

We are so beautiful and powerful when we come together. I remember many years ago attending the Million Woman March in Philly and how everyone got along. I wondered then, “why does it take an event for us to get long?” Why can’t this be an everyday exercise we exhibit to one another🤔 Today, I met a few Sistah’s who I’m joining in the 40+ Double Dutch Club and it was a great experience. Man, we’re already something to be reckoned with (in a good way), but together we are an unstoppable force.  Improving on any type of relationship starts with yourself. Until you’re good with “YOU” you cannot be good for others. My opinion! We must do better people because things are a mess in today’s society! Whenever I have a premonition or when I simply think things should change I always try to look at home first and foremost. We can’t ask something of someone else if we’re not practicing it ourselves.

I wonder how the Million Man March would be if it was to take place today? I’m really not going to think about it, but instead I’ll pray. I remember how I was really hoping our men would step up once Obama was elected. Maybe, some did, but I didn’t experience it🤷🏾‍♀️

That goes to show, we can’t allow someone else to write our destiny. We must take responsibility for our own actions and decide if we want to be a better person than the day before. Not PERFECT!!! Just better😘
