IMO 🤔

 Good Evening,

And, what a cold one it is🥶 I was thinking about therapy. Recently, I was introduced to a journal called “Breathe”, a 52 week planner. When I think of therapy I think of a source which help one focus on their emotional status. A tool to guide one to see their situations and actions through different lenses and/or to acknowledge things about one’s self.  Whether it’s a person, place or thing it’s a resource of healthy beginnings.  An outlet allowing room to refocus, regroup and re-evaluate circumstances that has one’s mind and emotions held hostage.  Many don’t believe in or understand how therapy is really something needed in life. Especially, in todays climate. We’re dealing with the unseen which has robbed us of so much. It came like a thief in the night🤬 Although, I as well as many of you have always had a journal. At least I have, since a very young age.  It’s a different approach.  It’s not just about writing a simple note or something that happened. You must approach this journey in one’s mind to heal. I know church also offer counseling when one is faced with overwhelming obstacles.  Friends are available to vent to. But, if you’re seeking to overcome and to out grow a situation I believe therapy of some sort is an avenue you might want to explore.  In no way am I saying this is the answer because whereas it works for some it might not work for everyone.  I do believe it will help🤷🏾‍♀️ I think it’s a great start. No shame! No judgement! I think taking an hour or so to meditate or pray might be a therapy of choice. Taking time to “breathe” and exhale, to relinquish burdens, negative thoughts can do wonders for the soul.  Like Mikey, “Try it, you might like it”😊
