Missing You😢

Hey Peeps,

I was scrolling through posts on IG a few minutes ago and came across something that literally made me want to ball like a baby.  Previously, I don’t remember when, there was a question posted on FB that gave me pause.  I’m not sure who posted it, but it asked what song saddens you.  Or, something like that.... Anyway, I posted “Auld Lang Syne”, which it does. The New Year is supposed to be celebrated and joyous. Hope for new beginnings....But, every year when they play this song I don’t associate anything happy or festive. IDK....why and I can’t recall anything happening that would make me feel this way. I don’t believe I’ve ever lost anyone around this time.  So, I can’t explain it🤷🏾‍♀️
Also, read the history behind the making of the poem. Yep, studied it in English Literature during my under-grad. WTH they thought to make it a New Year song🤦🏾‍♀️

There’s one more song I have the same reaction to and tears instantly appear.
I try to avoid listening to either of these songs.

Is there a song you have a certain reaction to? It doesn’t have to be a negative or sad reaction.  Just a reaction different from anything else.
