The Body💪🏾👃🏾👂🏾✋🏾🦵🏾🚶🏾‍♀️

Thankful Thursday....

We all at some point in our lives have had good intentions to do something and then for whatever reason those plans got pushed under the rug.  I believe like anything else when the body or mind gets tired and fed up with something or when realization set in whatever it is doesn’t belong, the body will expel it.  Sometimes we just need to get mad and make the decision to go for all we know and #JustDoIt 👊🏾 Lately, I’ve been observing many of us are  participating in getting healthy. On various social media platforms we are seeing on a daily basis many weight loss regimens, exercise tools and challenges to become more fit. I don’t believe no one chooses to be unhealthy, overweight and out of shape. And, sometimes other reasons like finances, physical or mental constraints might prevent one from taking action to do something about it. But, if and when you take action to do something about it you feel a level of accomplishment which encourages you to keep moving.  Many days I found myself exhausted, sore or just not feeling like working out, but having made commitments to several groups have kept me accountable, motivated and encouraged to “Keeping It Moving”.  Although, I’m happy of the  strides I’ve made, I’m  thankful of the support and encouragement from others. I’m determined to reach my goal. More importantly I don’t wanna go back because baby it’s no joke!
Often times we set these huge milestones for ourselves with great intentions of meeting them, however, some things just need to be done in moderation.  This has been my decision on my latest quest to lose weight. Let’s face it, like many others, this isn’t my first rodeo of working on the body.

This time, instead of focusing just on losing weight, I chose to get healthier. There’s a Huge difference! This included my skin, my mind,  a lot more praying, meditating and just overall trying to make better decisions benefiting “ME”. To be at Peace🙏🏾 and in a good space!
I believe to really get healthy includes mental, physical, financial, emotional and spiritual changes. Not necessarily in that order. I call this the domino effect because when one fall the other follows suit🤷🏾‍♀️

It excites me to see so many coming together and trying to do better.  Although, every year there’s New Year resolutions being made, I don’t recall so many coming together for the cause🙌🏾

If you know me, you know I have a saying of the “JJ” affect. Meaning, when it’s others you judge, but when it’s you it’s justified🤦🏾‍♀️

I like what I saw on a post which I refer to as “Quad F”, Friendship, Fellowship, Fit and Fun (40+ Double Dutch Group)
