Good Morning Jewels,
So, I didn’t know there was a “Women’s History Month”, but it doesn’t surprise me. Anyway, on my way home from the gym this morning I was thinking about setting goals. This led to me thinking about my weight loss journey and staying committed and consistent. I thought how many times I’ve been down this road, but this time was different. First, instead of doing it by myself I decided to take God with me. Obviously, it didn’t work by me going at it alone so I stay 🙏🏾 asking for guidance, strength, endurance and a successful outcome in Jesus name. I also started thinking about the many women supporting one another. This helps more than you know🤷🏾♀️ I mean, we hear/see all kinds of movements being started and being successful. Recently, I shared how I’d become a part of the 40+ Double Dutch Club. These women are supporting and encouraging each other. Prior to this I became a member of the Neighborhood Boxing Club. These Women are supporting and encouraging each other. I’m a member, mentor and on the initiative board for United Way; Women’s Leadership Council; E3. These women are supporting and encouraging each other. There are praying groups in different platforms I attend. These women are supporting and encouraging each other.
I found that sometimes when you think you’re helping someone else you might just be helping yourself!
Ladies, find a support group to assist you on any mission/journey you find challenging to go at alone. It’s a gift to have others praying and rooting for you.
WOMEN “encouraging” “empowering” “elevating” “educating” 👊🏾
#Blessings🙏🏾
